The Civic Hall High School Program is a free, four-week immersive summer camp for NYC high school students (grades 9-12) focused on cutting-edge technology. Participants will explore Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), prompt engineering, and other emerging technologies through hands-on projects and real-world tools. The program is structured to provide a comprehensive learning experience, starting with foundational AI concepts and responsible usage in Week 1. Weeks 2-3 delve into tool mastery and automation, where students will work with no-code tools and visual AI platforms to build automations and create AI-generated visuals for a project portfolio. The culmination of the program is a Capstone Project in Week 4, where students work in teams to develop and present their own AI project with a live demonstration. Throughout the camp, students will also engage with guest speakers, mentors from the tech ecosystem, and participate in immersive VR experiences and supplemental activities designed to connect their learning to real career pathways.
